Aesthetic and durable interiors made of premium cement from DDC

The raw material for Otti's premium quality works is provided by Duna-Dráva Cement Kft. (DDC).

Due to the popularity of minimalist, industrial styles, concrete has become an important factor in shaping our modern living space. This material is well suited for creating individually shaped coverings, floor and wall structures, countertops, washstands , but also in wet rooms. Equipping surfaces with impregnating and surface treatment agents allows you to protect concrete and create its water-repellent properties.

Good to work with, durable and environmentally friendly

Since its establishment in 2009, Otti Manufactura has been using CEM I 52.5 N type Portland cement produced in our Beremend Cement Plant. The high-strength cement enables quick formwork and template turnaround when making products, as well as long-term usability, final strength and durability. For the craft company, one of the most important properties of the material is that due to its moderately gray color, it can be tinted and bleached well, so professionals can easily work with it during production. Premium class cement guarantees uniform production and high quality of the product manufactured from it. In addition, it is worth bearing in mind that CO2 is generated during the production of cement, however, smaller amount of the high-strength 52.5 is enough to achieve the required strength and quality, so the environmental footprint of the particular product will be smaller.

"Concrete is trendy, reinterpreted and styled and very modern and does not go out of fashion," says Ottó Hoffer, who, in addition to its many positive properties, will continue to choose CEM I 52.5 N Portland cement for their products because it has been bearing the Hungarian Product trademark since 2014. This proves that high-quality cement products are produced in domestic plants of Hungarian raw materials with the help of Hungarian labor.
