BMW Factory in Debrecen

The construction of the BMW Group Factory started in 2020 and is still ongoing in the North-West Economic Zone of Debrecen, to which DDC's Mobile Concrete Plant in Debrecen also supplies transport concrete in significant quantities. In order to ensure a continuous supply of concrete and to meet the needs of the Customers, production is sometimes carried out even 0-24 hours, often 6 days a week.

With a length of 3 km and a width of 1.6 km, the monumental facility comprises the central building as well as several important production and service facilities, such as the multi-storey painting plant, which is built with environmental considerations in mind.

So far, we have provided a total of more than 40,000 m3 of concrete products for piling, structural construction, industrial floor preparation works, as well as architectural concrete surfaces.

Among our cement products, CEM II/A-S 42.5 N; CEM I 52.5 N; and CEM II/A-LL 42.5 N types were used in the production of transport concrete.

The main participants of the construction are Kész Építő Zrt., OKM Kft., Szabadics Zrt., HBM Kft. and SOLKID Kft., as well as Asconkerb Kft.

It is planned to install equipment and production lines at the factory in spring 2023, and in the fall, 100 students will be able to start their higher education studies at the training center. Trial production of Neue Klasse vehicles will start in 2024 and series production of electric models in 2025.
