Dream school in the Danube Bend

When Vác Cement Plant was handed over more than half a century ago, it was a unique investment in the Danube Bend. Now, 60 years after the kilns were started, the region is building another remarkable facility. The largest secondary educational institution in the country is being built in Dunakeszi. The dimensions of the Dunakeszi School District are impressive. A campus consisting of 7 buildings will be created on 13 hectares, from which the population of the city will benefit in addition to 1500 students. The swimming pool, gymnasiums, outdoor sports fields and parks will also be available outside school hours for residents of the area, thus expanding the region with a real knowledge and recreation centre.

Quality at every level

DDN will be outstanding not only in volume, but also in terms of the technology used in the design and construction, as well as the equipment and facilities of the institution. The quality expectations were maximum both on the part of the city, the customer and the contractors. In addition to decentralised air handlers in classrooms, Spanish antibacterial tiles and ventilated brick façades, DDC products also contribute to the excellent infrastructure of the institution.

For the construction of the school district, DDC delivered thousands of cubic meters of concrete made of cement from Vác in the local concrete plant in Dunakeszi and nearby in Vác. Among the products offered by our concrete plants you can find both standard and special concretes, such as sulphate-resistant, watertight and wear-resistant concretes, which are always produced with the most environmentally friendly process possible.
