DDC has once again won the Hungarian and Domestic Product trademark usage right!
Hungarian cement has no equal!
DDC first won the prestigious Hungarian and Domestic Product trademark right nearly a decade ago, in 2014, which has been displayed on the packaging of bagged cement products ever since. In 2023, our company received the right to use the trademark for another 3 years.
In autumn 2014, 7 of our cement products received the prestigious Hungarian Product certification and 4 received the Domestic Product certification, which appeared on the packaging of cement products from spring 2015. The trademark usage right won in 2023 and its indication will help buyers to purchase building material made from domestic raw materials for another 3 years.
Hungarian raw material, Hungarian workforce
The purpose of the trademark license is to certify the reliability of the products, their compliance with legislation and their certified domestic origin. DDC creates value in this, as we produce high-quality cement products based on an international model, but from Hungarian raw materials, with the help of Hungarian workforce, in domestic plants. All this is also supported by the Hungarian Product trademark, while cement products classified as Domestic Products are produced 96.8% from Hungarian raw materials, by the work of Hungarian specialists.
With several years of industry experience, state-of-the-art production technology, we produce our products in an environmentally conscious way, thanks to which the Hungarian Product certification can be used by all products of the Beremend Plant and three cements of the Vác Plant, while another five cement types produced only in Vác have been enriched with the Domestic Product certification.
Tradition and modernization
While cement production in Beremend has a history of 110 years, Vác Cement Plant has been a stable and reliable player in both the domestic construction industry and the region for six decades.
In recent decades, our company has placed great emphasis on the technological modernization of cement plants. Between 2007 and 2009, complex modernization was carried out at the Beremend Plant in a total value of HUF 15 billion, while at the Vác Plant – based on the model of Beremend – between 2016 and 2020 we carried out complex modernization in the value of approximately HUF 9 billion.
Thanks to technological investments, the Vác and Beremend Cement Plant has become one of the most modern plants in Europe today.
